Design Sensitivity Analysis and Optimization (dso)

چکیده
In this paper, a more efficient approach for component-level structural reliability analysis using the First Order Reliability Method (FORM) is presented. In this approach, the continuum design sensitivity analysis (DSA) and a two-point approximation (TPA) method are employed to support the most probable point (MPP) search in the random variable space for structural reliability analysis. This approach improves efficiency of the reliability analysis substantially and allows engineers to use established deterministic finite element analysis (FEA) codes for reliability analysis. This approach has been implemented in the Design Sensitivity Analysis and Optimization (DSO) tool using its existing software infrastructure. An engine turbine blade is presented to demonstrate the approach.
